Colin

Lead Vocals and Rhythm Guitar

Colin has been in bands since his mid-teens, starting with his first real band, Kindred and played in the local music scene in the Midlands.

After moving to London, he took a break from music before joining Barrie to create a successful rock covers band, Firefly, in West London in 2015.

When that project came to an end, he joined Barrie again to form Stoneheart and rocks the Lead Vocals whilst enjoying a bit of Rhythm Guitar.

Barrie

Lead Guitar and Backing Vocals

Barrie was drawn to the guitar while listening to Glam Rock in the early 70s. He was in his first band at school in his mid teens and then progressed on to listening to, and playing, heavy rock.

In the early 80s, whilst as a regular at the heavy rock nightclub, The Bandwagon, and at the time of the NWOBHM scene (New Wave of British Heavy Metal), Barrie and a group of friends formed a band, which became Lyadrive, and together they launched a single which achieved some critical acclaim.

Barrie became increasingly influenced by the Blues and is now at home playing a wide range of musical styles with his signature energy and enthusiasm.

Mark

Bass Guitar

Mark has immersed himself in many different genres for over 40 years, including rock, jazz, reggae, ska, latin, fusion, funk, soul, country to classical and has drawn his influences from key artists within the same.

Starting out, Mark played in rock and function bands, progressing through the pub, social club, and cabaret circuit, into Summer balls, and major corporate functions. He also plays regularly in tribute and military band concerts, provincial theatre productions, small and big band jazz concerts.

Mark’s playing has previously taken him to many UK, European and International destinations, performing and touring with the artists he supported, concentrating his efforts on being a regular call musician, performing in and around the local areas and now as a permanent member of StoneHeart.

Andy

Drums

Andy was inspired in the 70s by Classic Rock drummers in bands such as Cream, Deep Purple, and Prog Rock Band, Genesis, but later in the 80s, moved towards the evolving Alt Rock bands such as U2, The Smiths, and The Cure.

He bought his first drum kit when he was 24, getting together with 3 work mates, playing early Alt Rock covers at local pub venues.

After several years playing, work and family life and subsequently moving disrupted things for a while, until another drum kit arrived on the scene after he decided to pursue playing music again.

This allowed Andy to become involved in several start-up band projects in the Watford area, including Rock/Blues, an Alt Rock and a London-based Reggae band, joining StoneHeart In November 2022.
